Hilde Heijnen and Chroma work together for an exclusive concert at Gentse Feesten (The Ghent Festival). They combine live compositions with poems.

Karel has been commissioned by Aalsters Componistenplatform for a project based on novelist Louis Paul Boon’s novel Kapellekensbaan.

The project features a jazz ensemble, narrator/actor and dancer. Musically, Karel starts from the symphonic poem De Kapellekensbaan (chapel road) by Kristiaan van Ingelgem (which, in its turn is based on the above mentioned novel). The assignment results in a musical theatre with director Anton Coghe and dancer Caroline D’Haese.

The shows takes place on October 13th, 14th and 15th at the VTI (Aalst).

Chroma plays a series of concerts in famous Hopper jazz café.
